Müomeetria being the owner of the myometric technology has finished the technical development, launched and certified serial production, validated some application areas and rolled out the product in several countries. The cooperation is now ongoing already with several universities and research institutions, concentrating on clinical trials.

Myoton is a non-invasive medical diagnostic device for physicians dealing with muscle and soft tissue assessment. The users are provided unique numeric data on muscle tone and viscoelastic properties that allow for objective assessment that leads to enhanced accuracy of diagnostics. This information is useful for physicians for early discovery of pathological condition. Rehabilitation program can be optimized in short term, its sufficiency and efficacy can established individually. Athletes develop optimal training load individually - avoid overtraining and related injuries.

| The device operates by giving a small mechanical impact to the tissue, the resulting oscillation of the tissue is recorded and the parameters are calculated from this curve. The method is non-invasive, painless and relatively easy to administer. Nine analytical tools are available for data interpretation (incl. comparison with population reference values). |
